Advantages to Pennsylvania Businesses  The Pennsylvania program was designed to compete against the State Compensation Insurance Fund (SWIF) when the insured has no other market or choice due to a high experience modifier and or excluded worker’s compensation labor  code (s).  Clients that are frustrated with the state fund and that have expressed a strong desire to move away from SWIF, and who have also expressed a desire to reduce their costs are prime candidates for this program.

Premium Savings Feature  Insured’s that fall within the high risk class codes and that have high experience modifiers can expect to save an amount equal to 2% to 10% of gross payroll.  For example, a firm with a $1,000.000 annual gross payroll may save between $20,000 and $100,000 per year depending on their risk class and prior loss history.
